Recipe of Mexican Burritos

Who doesn’t love a fancy and exotic dish that will take just a few minutes to get prepared? Well, today we are going to provide you such a recipe that you can easily cook at your home. Burritos are the perfect dish for a casual get-together or a house party. This dish is quite easy to make. It is not only tasty but healthy as to cook this dish you will need vegetables. This is quite a light dish and nutritious as well. Read below to know further.

Step 1:-

Take a bown and soak 3 cups of Rajma overnight. Next day strain the water and boil it. Then smash it properly.

Step 2:-

Now take a pan and heat some oil. Then add 1 medium-sized finely chopped onion and mashed kidney beans. Now stir it for few minutes then add 2 tbsp tomato puree, 3 tbsp tomato ketchup, and some salt according to taste.

Step 3:-

For the sauce, take a handful of dry red chillies along with some chopped onions and tomatoes and saute these in oil for a minute. Than add salt as per your taste and grind it in a mixing jar.

Step 4:-

Now to make a dough for tortilla, take a bowl and mix 1 cup maize flour, ½ refined flour, a pinch of salt, and some water. After making a dough, give it a shape of chappati and cook it in a high heat.

Step 5:-

Speard some sour cream on the tortilla.  Now add the prepared beans mixture and pour the sauce over it. Wrap the tortilla tightly and serve.
