Kangana Ranaut pens down a heartfelt note as her grandfather passes away

Bollywood diva Kangana Ranaut has been a busy bee these days as her workload is on high. This week she was quite busy as she traveled a lot from Manali to Hyderabad, Chennai, and Delhi. However, on Monday, Kangana has returned to her home but stunned by a piece of unfortunate news. Her grandfather Braham Chand Ranaut has passed away recently and she shared the same on her Twitter handle with her fans. Kangana shared a throwback black and white picture of her grandfather. Further, she also pens down a heartfelt note for her late grandfather.

Sharing the throwback picture on her Instagram handle, Kangana revealed that they used to lovingly call her grandfather ‘Daddy’. Kangana further said that her grandfather has a great sense of humor. The note for her late grandfather reads “This evening I drove to my parents house as my grandfather Shri Braham Chand Ranaut wasn’t keeping well for past few months, just when I reached home he had already passed away. He was 90 years old still had an impeccable sense of humour and we all called him Daddy. OM Shanti.” 

Meanwhile, on the work front, she has recently wrapped up her shoot for her upcoming big venture titled Thalaivi wherein she is supposed to play the character of late Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa. Her fans were quite surprised when she had undergone a transformation to get into the skin of her character. Apart from this movie, she is also set to feature in the movie titled Tejas where she will be seen playing the character of an Indian Air Force pilot. In fact, regarding certain permissions, Kangana had met Defence Minister Rajnath Singh in Delhi and discussed the script with him.
