Black tea is very much beneficial for us. These tea leaves come from the Camellia Sinensis and it has the same properties as that of green tea and white tea. Interestingly, this is a widely consumed beverage in the world. Not only this but it is also blended with some other plants like English Breakfast or Earl Grey to give a different aroma and flavor. You will be surprised to know that the consumption of black tea regularly gives us several health benefits and some of them are mentioned below.

In some researches, it has been found that black teas have properties like polyphenols that can be helpful for the reduction of the risk of tumor growth in the body. In simple words, it can be said that the consumption of black tea can reduce the risk of breast, lungs, skin, and prostate cancer.

Flavonoids are present in black tea that can improve heart health and also reduces the risk of many cardiovascular diseases. So if you add black tea to your daily diet then it may improve your heart health.

These days stroke has become one of the most significant causes of death and the consumption of black tea may help in reducing the risk of stroke.  A stroke occurs when a blood vessel in your brain is blocked or ruptured. However, in some studies it is been found that black tea contains some potential properties that may prevent stroke.
