Easy Panna Cotta recipe

Panna Cotta is an Italian custard that means “cooked cream” in Italian. It is quite a popular dish and you will be surprised to know that you can it easily at your home with some basic ingredients such as sugar, cream, etc. It basically has a silky smooth texture. It has a bouncy consistency that is achieved with the help of gelatin. 

Gelatin is the most important ingredient for this dish as it helps to set the Panna Cotta. So today we are going to provide you an easy recipe for a Panna Cotta that you can easily cook at your home. Take a look at the recipe below.

Step 1:-

Take a bowl and pour 1 1/2 cup of milk. Now sprinkle 3 tablespoons of gelatin on the top. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until the grains look dissolved and wet. 

Step 2:-

Now out a pan on a medium flame. Keep whisking the mixutre till it gets soft and completely dissolved. Once the gelatin gets dissolved add 1/2 cup white sugar to the pan and keep on stirring.

Step 3:-

Now take a bowl and mix 1 cup heavy cream, 1 tablespoon vanilla extract and some salt. Add the milk gelatin mixture with this mixture.

Step 4:-

Thereafter, pour the batter into ramekins and refrigerate for 4-5 hours or overnight to make sure the panna cotta is properly set and can be easily unmoulded the next day.

Step 5:-

Now its time to unmould. To unmould, carefully run a knife on all the edges of the ramekin. After that place the ramekin in a bowl of hot water and wait for 3 seconds. Place the inverted ramekin on a plate to carefully release the panna cotta from it.
