The momo recipes was origiated from Tibet but these days it has become quite popular in Northern India. Well who don’t love momo? Momos are dumplings filled with either vegetables or meat.
These tasty momos have been paired up with some spice sauces that make it even tastier. This is prepared with all-purpose flour and can be steamed or fried. We basically ran to shops to have this yummy dish but today we are going to provide you the yummy five-step recipe of veg momo that you can easily cook at your home. Take a bowl and add 1 cup all-purpose flour, some salt, and a pinch of baking powder. Now add a little amount of water to make it a soft dough. Let it rest.
Now prepare for it’s stuffing. Take a pan and fry some chopped garlic, ginger, finely chopped onions, carrots, and cabbage.
Now season the stuffing with some salt and pepper and add ½ tsp soy sauce and vinegar. Saute the mixer for 2 -3 minutes on low flame.
After that to make the momos, make a ball from the dough and roll it with a rolling pin to form a small circle. Roll it from the sides and fill the centre with the stuffing. Once filled, seal it from all sides.
Now take rhe steamer and add a little amount of water in the lower section of the steamer and and steam the momos for 5-7 minutes. To make the sauce take a grinder and add some tomatoes, dry red chillies and garlic with salt and add water to achieve the right consistency.
